Make a difference

A small donation will make a huge difference

We seek every opportunity to pursue fundraising which then allows us to purchase the equipment, material, plants and artwork involved in this walk. We also need to maintain all these areas not just for us right now but also for future generations to enjoy and appreciate in years to come.

A special thank you to Alan Farrell, honorary member of TLW and our photographer to the stars. Alan, you always capture the very essence and spirit of Yarm and its riverwalk. You always do us proud.

We have been extremely fortunate to have been supported very generously by a number of business people in Yarm whose contributions have helped finance the acquisition of much needed battery powered equipment. Such individuals include Ian Waller (Theakston Estates), Anthony Perkin (IKM Testing [UK] Ltd), Phil Durham (Nexim ICT Services), Ben Watson (CF Fertilisers) and Liam Percy (LunaBlu); we thank and applaud them for their kindness and generosity.

In July 2024 we were awarded £15,000 funding from the National Lottery’s Community Fund which is expressly earmarked for the development of the Worsall Walk pathway.

Yarm Angling Club have very kindly supported us through donations arising from their monthly Quiz nights.

Alastair Powell, owner of The Keys, Yarm High Street has asked his Manager, Jake Taylor, to help support our on-going fundraising activities by sponsoring a variety of in-house events including a monthly Quiz, music afternoons and more offerings to follow. A tremendous and much appreciated offer of help so many thanks to Alastair, Jake and their team. We would love it if you are able to come along and join in the fun and in doing so directly help to support us in this way.

We also seek individual donations using our Gofundme Page.

If you feel able to help, in any way, no matter how small, thank you.
